You can edit or delete an entire floor or individual items on a floor, such as tables. A user must have the Edit floors user privilege enabled to add and edit floors and tables in Restaurant Manager (see Assigning user roles).

NOTE: You can also edit floors and tables in Restaurant POS. See Editing floors and tables in Restaurant POS for more information.

Editing floors

1. Click Floors in the lefthand menu.
2. If you have more than one floor, click the floor you want to edit.
3. Edit the floor as required:
   • To delete the floor or edit the floor name, description, size, or visibility: Click anywhere on the floor, making sure not to click an object on the floor. In the Edit Floor window, edit the settings, and then click OK. For a full description of floor settings, see Creating floors.

   • To change the floor image: Click the Floors tab and select a different floor image. To upload a new floor image, click the plus icon + in the Floors tab and select the image file.

     Note: Image upload is available on computers only. Uploading images using an iPad or iPhone is not supported. 

Editing tables

1. Click Floors in the lefthand menu.
2. If you have more than one floor, select the floor with the table you want to edit.
3. Click the table and edit as required:
   • Moving and duplicating a table: To move a table, click and drag the table to its new location on the floor. To duplicate a table, click it then click Copy at the bottom of the Edit Table window. The new table will have copy added to its name.

   • To delete the table or edit the table name, description, type, width, height, rotation, chair image/number: Click the table, edit the settings, and then click OK. For a full description of table settings, see Creating tables.

Adding custom decoration

You can also customize the look of your floors by adding decorative touches such as plants, walls and aquariums.

1. In Restaurant Manager, click Floors.
2. If you have more than one floor, click the floor to edit.
3. Click the Decoration tab.
4. If the image you want to add was not previously uploaded, click the plus icon +, select the image file and click Upload.

   NOTE: Image upload is available on computers only. Uploading images using an iPad or iPhone is not supported.

5. Click the image, specify the settings and click OK.

   Settings

   NAME	Enter a name for the decoration.
   DESCRIPTION	Enter a description of the decoration. Note that this will only appear in Restaurant Manager.
   WIDTH	The decoration width in pixels.
   HEIGHT	The decoration height in pixels.

    

6. Position the element on the floor as desired.
