When creating printer templates, it is possible to further modify the layout of templates within Advanced Layout Settings. From the Printer Templates page, click on the printer template type to modify (ie Receipt, Bar or Kitchen, or Email Receipt). In the pop-up window for the printer template selected, scroll down to Advanced Layout Settings where there are four sub-sections: Adjust Margins, Show/Hide, Miscellaneous Settings, and Enable/Disable. Please note that particular options for each sub-section will differ depending on the printer template selected. The article below outlines the Advanced Layout Settings for Receipt, Bar or Kitchen, and Email Receipt printer templates.
Adjust Margins
Manually adjust the margins of the selected printer template.

Show/Hide
Manually adjust what appears on the selected printer template, according to the printer type. For Receipt printers, choose to show or hide items such as price, modifiers, and payment information. For Kitchen or Bar printers, choose to show information such as the course name, floor, or server.

Misc. Settings
Misc. (Miscellaneous) Settings include various setting options. For instance, sort the layout of printed items on a receipt by their product name or PLU, or choose to combine or separate repeat order items on a receipt. If there are multiple Kitchen printer templates at your restaurant (ie, Hot and Cold kitchen prep stations) you may have selected Notification Templates within the advanced options of product categories. If you wish to create a Kitchen Summary printer template, be sure to select the Summary Notification Template setting so that orders are not duplicated on the Kitchen Summary printer.

Select which lines are visible or hidden on a printer template. On Receipt templates, select settings such as Underline title or enable a Tip Line for manually adding a tip amount on a printed receipt. On Kitchen printer templates, select settings such as enabling a Line between seat number.
