More detailed information about the Mobile Tap v2 can be found in its product sheet.

Setting up the Mobile Tap v2

You should fully charge the device before setting it up, using the included USB-C charging cable.

A fully charged Mobile Tap v2 can process 800 NFC transactions and 1200 contact transactions in a full day of sales. We recommend charging the device nightly to ensure uninterrupted use.

Turn on the Mobile Tap v2 by holding the power button on the side of the device.

Connecting the Mobile Tap v2 to an iOS device

The Mobile Tap v2 terminal connects directly through the Restaurant POS app when Location Services and Bluetooth are enabled on the iOS device. Each iOS device needs its own Mobile Tap v2 terminal to process payments at the same time as each other.
