Hi. How can we help?

Switching floors

You can quickly switch floors in Restaurant POS in order to access all of your restaurant's tables.

For more information on creating floor plans, see Creating Floors.

Swiping to view large floors

If your floor plan is too large to fit on one screen, increase the floor size and swipe left or right to view different areas. You can also click and drag to move between sections.

A large floor is still treated as one floor. Swiping doesn’t create separate floors or separate reports, so all sales and reporting stay under the same floor.

Enable swiping in Restaurant Manager

  1. Log in to Restaurant Manager.
  2. From the main menu, go to Floors.
  3. Tap an empty area of the floor to open the Edit floor pop-up.
  4. From the Default sizes drop-down menu, select a size:
    1. 2x - iPad: Expands the floor to two screen widths.
    2. 3x - iPad: Expands the floor to three screen widths.

Use 3x - iPad for floor plans with many tables or large outdoor seating areas that don't fit on a standard single-screen view.

  5. Tap Ok to save your changes.
  6. Clear the cache on your iPad.

You can now test the updated floor in Restaurant POS.
