You can apply a service charge to orders and order item by creating a Service Charge product that specifies the amount to charge when added to an order.
Service charges must be created in Restaurant Manager before they can be applied. See Creating service charges for more information.
Applying service charges
- On the Order screen, tap the category that contains the service charge you want to apply.

Tap the service charge to apply it.

| Fixed Price |
Adds a service charge as a dollar amount to the entire order. If the service charge has been set as an Open Price service charge on Restaurant Manager, the user will be prompted to add a custom currency amount as the service charge. |

| Bar Fixed Price Automatic | Adds a service charge as a dollar amount to the entire order for a Bar table type. |
| Bar Percentage Automatic | Adds a service charge as a percentage to the entire order for a Bar table type. |
