Setting up split bills

In order to be able to split bills and then print them in Restaurant POS, you must first create a Split bills and Print all split receipts payment type in Restaurant Manager.

Adding a Split bills payment type

Adding a Split bills payment type in Restaurant Manager allows your staff to split bills.

  1. In Restaurant Manager, click Payments.
  2. In the Payment Types tab, click Add Payment.
  3. Name the payment Split bill.
  4. From the Type menu, select Split bill.
  5. Optionally: add a description, assign a color for the button, and/or enable auto finalizing.
  6. Click OK.

A Split bill button will now be available on the Restaurant POS Payment screen.

Setting up split receipt printing

Set up split receipt printing so your staff can print all of the split bills for.

  1. In Restaurant Manager, click Payments.
  2. In the Payment Types tab, click Add Payment.
  3. Name the payment Print all split receipts.
  4. From the Type menu, select Print all split receipts.
  5. Optionally: add a description, assign a color for the button, and/or enable auto finalizing.
  6. Click OK.

A Print all split receipts button will now be available on the Restaurant POS Payment screen.
