Email Settings

Enter your email SMTP settings for the purpose of emailing customers and users from Lightspeed Restaurant.

To access Email Settings

  1. In Restaurant Manager, click Settings in the lefthand menu.
  2. Select Email Settings. 
  3. Specify the settings and click Save.

Available settings

SMTP SETTINGS

Enter your provider's SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings here to receive emails from Lightspeed.

  • SMTP username
  • SMTP password
  • SMTP host
  • SMTP port
  • From email address
  • Test email settings
ADVANCED
  • Use TLS (Transport Layer Security): When enabled, emails that are sent from you are encrypted using your email provider's TLS (SSL) protocol.
  • Put me (admin) in CC: When enabled, the administrator is automatically copied on all outgoing emails.
