An admin email and username must be used to log in to your account on the Restaurant POS app. Once your account is logged in to Restaurant POS, there are three different ways a POS user open a session on the app. Having unique user authentication methods in the form of a password, pin code or login card helps keep your account secure.
Three different types of POS user authentication methods:
Password |
Each user has a distinct alphanumeric password. See Creating users for information on setting a user's password. |
PIN code |
Each user has a distinct 4-digit PIN code. See Creating users for information on setting a user's PIN code. |
Login card |
Each user has a physical login card that they swipe to log in to Restaurant POS. See Assigning a login card to a user for more information. |
