Once you’ve routed a Lightning to USB cable through the Vault Pro iPad stand, you’re ready to set up the Vault STABILITY rotation base.

Attaching the Vault STABILITY rotation base

The Vault STABILITY rotation base gives you the ability to rotate your iPad stand up to 180 degrees, so that your customers and employees can easily interact with the POS screen from multiple angles.

To attach the Vault STABILITY rotation base:

  1. Lay down the rotation base.
  2. Unscrew the top cap using the Allen key provided.
  3. Remove the base clip (metal ring) from the center of the rotation base, and set to the side.
  4. Place your iPad stand into the rotation base so that the clip of the stand matches up with how you want it to rotate.Rotation_base.png

The opening of the rotation base is surrounded by a ring, which is raised on one side (depicted as red in the images). Depending on how you attach the rotation base to your iPad stand, it will allow for -90 to 90 degrees, or 180 degrees clockwise, or 180 degrees counterclockwise rotation.

  5. Place the base clip on the center of the rotation base to secure the iPad stand.
  6. Reattach the top cap to the rotation base.
  7. Tighten the top cap with the Allen key.

Once you’ve finished setting up the Vault STABILITY rotation base, your iPad is ready for business.
